Kilimanjaro - Machame Route

MACHAME ROUTE
6 DAY, 5 NIGHTS
ESL TOUR NO. II

• DAY 1 After breakfast drive to Kilimanjaro National Park at Machame Gate where the climb starts. It is a 5 – 6 hours walk through the fascinating rain forest to the Machame Hut (3,000 ft). Dinner and overnight at Machame Hut.
• DAY 2 After breakfast continue to Shira Hut with lunch boxes. The altitude begins to itself cautions you to tread slowly (pole pole) and just enjoy the view of Shira Hut at 3,840 ft. Its reached in some 6 hours.
• DAY 3 After good night rest, enjoy morning view of Plateau then continue to Barranco Hut 3,950 ft for dinner and overnight.
• DAY 4 Early ours starting going to summit with our Professional Guide in order to reach Uhuru Peak. Then descend down to Barafu Hut, 4,600 ft for lunch, dinner and overnight.
• DAY 5 After good night rest and hard work descend down to Mweka Hut, 3,100 ft with lunch boxes for dinner and overnight.
• DAY 6 Around 8.00 a.m. after breakfast coming down with your Guide and Porters to Mweka Gate where will be picked up by our driver then transfer to Moshi town for dinner and overnight.
