Selous Game Reserve
The Selous Game Reserve is situated in southern Tanzania and has enormous land area of 55,000 sq. kms making it the second largest unexploited wildlife area in the world. The reserve also contains some of the virgin bush left in Africa and some of the largest elephant in Africa as well as vast numbers of wildlife. The commonly seen species are lion wild dog, buffalo, bushbuck, impala, warthog, leopard, hartebeest sable, zebra, greater kudu and the countless hippos and crocodiles which flock the Rufiji river (the greatest in Africa).
It is only in the Selous that one can have game drives, boat and walking safari together.
